The D’SIGN Awards

Design Competition for students, start-ups and creatives

The D’SIGN Awards is a design competition that puts your fresh design work front & center in the spotlight. With a strong focus on new functionality, technology and creativity, the D’SIGN Awards help you gain publicity and in- stant recognition to a large international audience.

The D’SIGN Awards acts as a giant creative gravitational force – bringing you, the designers and companies together, getting attention from the media, design critics and potential buyers of selected entries.

Why should you enter?

Participating in the D’SIGN Awards demonstrates the drive to create, the will to rethink and redesign that creation and the courage to compare your creativity with that of other participants. Your competition entry will be featured in our blog and archived permanently in the D’SIGN Award Gallery. We maintain very active communities on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn to keep everyone (and their friends) in- formed about the D’SIGN Awards.

Win prizes!

Winners will receive an award in the form of a unique trophy during the award ceremony. The winning designs and their designers will be followed for a year trough regular publicity about their progress. Last year, the D’SIGN Awards were held at the Woonbeurs RAI Amsterdam. For each time, a good location to hold our award ceremony is yet to be confirmed, so be sure to follow us online to stay up to date.

Competition Deadline

The D’SIGN Awards Competition 2015 is closed for entries. The participants for 2015 will are registered for the D’SIGN Awards 2016. The follow-up will start in May of this year.

Who judges the D’SIGN Awards entries?

The judges’ panel is composed of industry professionals and focus-group members and follows strict guidelines to pro- vide a fair and ethical evaluation. The judges’ meeting will take place in October. The judges’ decision will be legally binding and final. This year will see additional guest judges from the field join the panel, and will be announced on the website and Social Media.

Next to the judges’ decision, the public can vote who will be the winner of the D’SIGN Awards Public Prize.
