Stromae’s clothing line ‘Mosaert’ huge success

Mosaert is a label designed by the Belgian singer Stromae, born Paul Van Haver. You might know him from the songs: Alors, Danse, Formidable and Papaoutai. Mosaert is an anagram of his stage name, Stromae was again an anagram of the word ‘maestro’. The new collection is energetic, colourful and fun. And includes polo shirts and socks in retro kitsch style.

Stromea and his team based the first Capsule º 1 collection Mosaert the look of his latest album, called Racine Carrée. English school in the mix with geometric patterns and African colors. And that turned out to be a huge success. Less than two weeks ago Stromae presented his collection. And after 3 days almost the entire collection was sold out.

When the new collection is expected is not clear. The next collection is already in the making, but it is still unclear when it will appear in stores and what items it will be. “Perhaps jackets and cardigans,” says a spokeswoman.
