The 32th edition of the KunstRai

KunstRAI is the longest running art fair for contemporary autonomous and applied art in the Netherlands: a public exhibition with over seventy-quality galleries that reflect the diversity, quality and diversity of the rich Dutch offer of contemporary art, design. Visitors will find autonomous painting, sculpture, photography and graphic art and contemporary glass, ceramics and jewelry. A must for the Art lover and like the Previous years, impressive art to discoverer there is a lot to see and specially to talk about.

Solo Stands: This year 21 participating galleries create also in addition to their own stand a solo stand in which the work of an artist is highlighted. The purpose of the solo stands is to increase understanding and appreciation of art and the work of the artist. Solopresentation artists: Stefan Annerel, Florian Fausch, Toine Klaassen, Jupp Linssen, Cole Morgan, Margriet Smulders, Rik Mijling, Kees de Vries, Anke Roder.

Raw Edges: Ten young galleries present themselves at the Art RAI under the name Raw Edges’. These galleries provide their often striking presentations to surprise the audience and use the opportunity to present themselves and the work of young talent to a wide audience of art connoisseurs and art lovers. The presentations of Gallery Nasty Alice was one of the striking presentations on the fair.

WOW: Wow Amsterdam is one of the two backstage programs of the KunstRAI. WOW is a creative breeding ground in Amsterdam, where young, recently graduated artists live and work. This results in intriguing crossovers between art, fashion, design, music and film, a selection of which is shown on the KunstRAI

Cherry Garden: The second backstage program, “Cherry Garden” designed by the Amsterdam Cherry Gallery is like last year enthusiastically received. Focus Berlin: With Focus Berlin does KunstRAI revive an old tradition to invite foreign galleries as a group to participate in the event. a stage this year is offered at six Berlin galleries which make a fresh contribution to the KunstRAI: including Whiteoncepts | aquabitArt, Dr. Julius. | ap, Rasche Ripken Berlin and Galerie Carsten Seifert.

Life Ball: is a Viennese organization dedicated to the worldwide fight against HIV and AIDS. organizing shows in cooperation with Galerie Sophie Maree, the work of the Viennese artist and photographer Inge Prader on the KunstRAI. Prader has a series of pictures made inspired by the paintings of its famous 19th century townsman Gustav Klimt. The pictures bring the paintings by Klimt as it were alive. Half of the proceeds from the sale of the photos are intended for charity.
