Architecture: Tori – Tori Restaurant by Rojkind Arquitectos & Esrawe Studio
Project: Taking the inside out
The façade of the building and landscape were carefully designed in a lilac to become an extension of the restaurant, creating a strong relationship between interior and exterior. And giving Tori Tori an atmosphere which is enriched by a spectrum of changes. With the pattern of openings in the façade that responded, filtering the light, shadows, and perspectives that will constantly invade the interior space, creating a strong relationship between interior and exterior.
Maintaining a very intimate and subtle feel towards the first encounter with the out site, after entering, the visitor will find himself in a terrace, embraced by natural vegetation. And the seductive interior, with its specially created furniture and very ‘nature’ spirit. with its organic lines enhanced by a remarkable lighting. Each room has its own nature and shows a clear relationship to its function. The tables and chairs that are part of the furnishings are clearly inspired by Tori Tori, was developed with the direct guidance through each space.
